lasagne recipie:





box of lasagne pasta





200g grated cheese





meat sauce:


500g mince


1 tin tinned tomatoes


1 finley diced onion


3 cloves diced garlic


S+P


pinch dried mixed herbs (or handful of choped fresh herbes eg basil/parsley)





white sauce:


100g butter


standard flour


milk





Preheat oven to 180*c (356*F)





Meat sauce:


in a frypan sautee onions and garlic, add mince and fry untill browned. add tin of tomatoes, S+P and herbs.





White Sauce: in a pot, melt butter and add enough flour to form a paste. SLOWLY add milk WHILE STIRRING to form a smooth white sauce. add 1/2 the grated cheese to make a nice cheesy sauce.





TIPS: making a good white sauce is the hardest bit. you need to add the milk a little at a time untill it forms a nice thick consistancy. if it goes lumpy, stop adding milk, keep over a gentle heat and stir like crazy, the sause should go thick again and you can beat out all the lumps. continue to add milk SLOWLY untill you reach the desired consintancy. dont worry if you get a few lumps, it dosent really matter.


To make a nice white sauce the secret is to stir it lots, and keep it over a gentle heat.





to make lasagne put a layer of meat sauce (aprox 1cm) on the bottom of a large ovenproof dish. then put a thin layer of white sauce ontop. then a layer of lasagne pasta (you might need to break it up to get the right shape for the dish).





continue layering the lasagne (meat, white sauce, pasta) untill you use up all of your meat sauce (aprox 4-5 layers). ontop of the final layer of pasta place the rest of the white sauce (enough to cover it) and top with the rest of your grated cheese.





bake in the oven for 45 mins or untill golden brown ontop, and pasta is cooked (slice a knife through a bit of the top section of pasta, should not be too firm)





serve hot with a side salad :)

8 ounces lasagna noodles


2 tablespoons salt for cooking water


1 tablespoon olive oil


16 ounces low fat ricotta cheese


8 ounces sliced Mozzarella cheese


Sauce , below


1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Sauce:


1/2 cup finely chopped onion


2 cloves garlic, minced


3 tablespoons olive oil


1 pound ground chuck or round


1 large can (28 ounces) tomatoes


1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste


2 teaspoons salt


pinch cayenne pepper


1 teaspoon sugar


1/4 teaspoon dried basil


1 bay leaf


2 cups water


Preparation:


Start sauce about 30 to 45 minutes in advance.


Saut茅 onion and garlic in olive oil until onions are soft; add ground beef and brown. Pour off excess fat. Add remaining ingredients; stir well. Simmer slowly, uncovered, for 1 hour.


Cook noodles in boiling water with 2 tablespoons of salt for about 25 minutes, or until tender, stirring frequently to prevent sticking. Drain; add 1 tablespoon olive oil. Arrange noodles in a shallow 2 1/2-quart baking dish. Make 3 layers each of noodles, ricotta cheese, Mozzarella cheese, meat sauce, and Parmesan cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 325掳 for 45 minutes.






Easy Lasagna


8 ounces no cook lasagna noodles


1 pound lean ground beef


1/2 cup chopped onion


8 ounces mushrooms, optional


1 jar (about 16 ounces) spaghetti sauce, your favorite


1 teaspoon garlic powder


1/2 teaspoon salt


1 teaspoon dried leaf oregano, crumbled


1/2 teaspoon dried leaf basil, crumbled


1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese


2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese


3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese





In a large skillet, brown beef, onion, and mushrooms; drain well. Stir in spaghetti sauce, garlic powder, salt, oregano, and basil. In a 2-quart buttered baking dish (about 11x7x2-inches), layer 1/3 of the lasagna noodles, 1/3 of the sauce and 1/3 of the ricotta cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and Parmesan cheeses. Repeat layers twice. Bake lasagna for 30 minutes, or until thoroughly heated and bubbly. Let stand for 8 to 10 minutes before cutting and serving. Serves 6 to 8.

Here's how to do it !





1 Onion, minced


1 lb Ground beef


2-teaspoon Shortening


1 md Can whole tomatoes


1 cn Tomato sauce


1/2 lb Lasagna noodles


Salt and Pepper to taste


1 ts Oregano


2 1/2 qt Boiling water


1/2 lb Sliced Mozzarella cheese


1 c Cream cottage cheese


1/2 c Cheddar cheese


1 Clove garlic menced


Method:


Take a pan and pour some shortening in it.


Add chopped onion, garlic and ground beef into the pan and fry them lightly in shortening for about 20 minutes.


Add tomatoes, tomato sauce and salt and pepper to taste.


Simmer for 30 to 40 minutes.


Take lasagna noodles and cook then gently in boiling water with a tablespoon salt for about 20 minutes.


Take a baking dish and add about 1/3 meat mixture in it.


Add layer of noodles, 1/2 cottage cheese, 1/3 Mozzarella and 1/2 Cheddar.


Keep repeating the process of making layers, till the remaining meat gets finished.


Do the topping with the remaining 1/3 Mozzarella cheese and the yummy mouthwaterin recipe is done !
1.preheat oven @ 400 degrees


2.brown the ground beef


3.mix ground beef and tomato sauce(of your choice)


4.lay the lasagna pasta(oven ready pasta so they can cook in the oven other then cooking in the pot with water then puttin them the oven) and cover with ricotta cheese and 3 cheeses(i prefer mozzarella,cheddar,and colby jack) then top with ground beef then top again with cheese


5.repeat until you have as many layers you want


6.put in oven uncovered for 30 mins


7.take out lasagna then cover then cook for another 30 mins


8.take out of oven....eat and enjoy
Here is my recipe:





INGREDIENTS:





1 lb. Italian flavored ground sausage (I use Bob Evans brand)


1 lb. ground beef (I use sirloin)


2 jars spaghetti sauce (my favorite brand is Kroger's ';Private Selection'; Roasted Garlic and Sun dried Tomato)


1 box Barilla ';no boil'; lasagna noodles


6 cups (24 oz.) shredded mozzarella cheese





Ricotta mixture:





1 (30 oz.) container ricotta cheese


3 eggs, beaten


1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese


1/2 teaspoon basil


1/2 teaspoon oregano


1/2 teaspoon garlic powder


1/4 teaspoon pepper


1 cup of the 6 cups shredded mozerella cheese





Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Cook , chop and drain meats together. Put all of ';ricotta mixture'; ingredients in large mixing bowl and stir together. Spray deep dish baking pan (or large disposable pan) with cooking spray.





Layering:





1. Spread 1/3 of one jar of sauce into pan





2. Layer 4 uncooked sheets, 1/3 of ricotta mixture, half of meat, 1 cup of the mozerella and 1/3 jar of sauce





3. Layer 4 uncooked sheets, 1/3 of ricotta mixture, and rest of 1st jar of sauce





4. Layer 4 uncooked sheets, rest of ricotta mixture, rest of meat, and 1/3 of second jar of sauce





5. Layer 4 uncooked sheets, remaining (2/3 jar) of sauce, and remaining 4 cups of cheese





Bake covered on 375 degrees for 55 minutes, and uncovered for another 10 minutes


Let stand 10-15 minutes (to set) before serving


Serves 8-10
Thanks! Basically you need the lasagna noodles, a sauce, and lots and lots of cheese. It is assembled in layers, then baked.

if can make a sauce use a very good jar of one . Prego is a good basic but there is better with spice in them.


Layer you noodles half cooked and I put red wine on the bottom of my pan for flavor. 4 or 5 diff cheese. and from mushroom to sausage, hamb. veggies, depends on you for kind of and preference. and layer and use alot of sauce. top with plenty of mozzarella cheese. Bake for 45 to 50 at 350. Let sit before cutting for hold.
