Ok so I am having trouble finding recipes for Lasagna.
I am supposed to make one for my family get together.
Have any quick or easy ones?
I have NEVER made it so I`m pretty new at it.How do you make Lasagna? I just can`t seem to find any recipes at all.?
Easy NO Fail Recipe
Preheat oven to 350
I take hamburger and italian sausage 1/2 and 1/2 brown and drain (the sausage adds another layer of flavor that is SUPER good and makes it so you don't have to worry about adding flavor to the boring old hamburger) For a large pan I use about 1lb each.
add spaghetti sauce of your choice (I use classico or sometimes just ragu with added garlic)
have either cottage cheese or ricotta on hand
Mozzarella or italian blend of cheeses
Take all ingredients and layer with UNCOOKED lasagna noodles... I do not use special noodles... just any lasagna noodle and I never pre boil them. You can also use Egg Roll Wrappers... I double them up when I use them.
I go
Olive Oil or sauce on bottom (try not to add meat if you use sauce)
Noodles
Meat Sauce
Cottage or Ricotta Cheese
Mozzarella or Italian Blend Cheese
Repeat and end with Cheese on top.
add 1/4 cup water into pan, cover with foil and bake 45 mins to 1 hour. I usually remove the foil at 45 mins and let bake the additional 15 mins uncovered.
Let sit 10-15 mins and then cut and enjoy. Works great for get togethers just recover and take with you. Stays warm for about an hour usually.
Enjoy
You can add any other ingredients you like... onions, mushrooms, olives to name a few. Just cook the ones that need it with the meat.
It's a very basic recipe but I've never had it fail me and I always get RAVES about it when I feed it to anyone. How do you make Lasagna? I just can`t seem to find any recipes at all.?
Off the top of my head!
500g mince
salt and pepper
garlic crushed
onion chopping
tomato paste or puree
Brown mince and the add all above ingredients.
Cook lasagna pasta until tender and then drain.
Make a cheese sauce.
get an oven dish and put layers of the mince, lasagna and cheese sauce until all used up. Top with grated cheese and put in oven at about 180 until cheese is melted and a golden brown.
Should be yummy. Serve with a salad and french bread!

Best recipe ever, my mom's:
Get an 8x8 glass pan, and starting from the bottom and working up, layer:
Hamburger meat/spaghetti sauce mixture
A layer of flat noodles
More meat/sauce mixture
Layer of cottage cheese
Layer of mozzerella cheese
Another layer of flat noodles
Another layer of sauce/meat
Top it with a layer of mozzerella cheese
Bake it in the oven for about 40 minutes at 350 degrees, let it cool, cut into squares. Woo hoo!
it'll say how to make it on the back of the noodle's box. here are also a couple of links:

1 package lasagna noodles
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 tablespoon dried oregano
2 cans tomato soup
2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
Nonstick cooking spray
2 cups cottage cheese (small curd)
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Bring a large pot of water to a boil and add salt. Boil noodles according to package directions. Drain and arrange in casserole (see below).
While noodles are boiling, brown beef in a large frying pan over medium-high heat, adding chopped onion, garlic and oregano to meat as it cooks. When meat has browned, drain off fat and then add tomato soup and apple cider vinegar. Simmer for 20 minutes.
Preheat oven for 350 degrees F.
Spray a medium casserole dish with a nonstick cooking spray. Lay noodles lengthwise across bottom of casserole dish. Spread a layer of cottage cheese over top of noodles. Add a layer of meat mixture, then cover with mozzarella cheese and repeat for a total of 3 layers. Finish with a layer of cheese and bake for 30 minutes or until bubbling. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes before cutting and serving.
Here's what I do
Ingredients
Lasagne Noodles (boiled til tender) Follow directions and have water boiling VERY good
Ground Beef, cooked well and ';chopped'; into small bits
Grated Cheese (your favorites..I usually use Cheddar, Jack and Mozzarella Mixed)
Container of Cottage Cheese
Container of Parmesean Cheese (sprinkle cheese in a can)
2 jars or more of Spaghetti Sauce (my fav..mushroom and bell pepper)
First, start the noodles, when done, drain off water and set aside to let cool so you can handle them
Brown ground beef with a little bit of onions (if you like)
drain out all of the grease, set aside
Heat spaghetti sauce til warm
In a 9x13 pan.......
Layer the bottom of the pan in this order
Ladle of sauce
Noodles
Ladle of sauce
ground beef
all cheeses (making the top Parmesean)
then start again...
Make sure the Top has parmesean cheese
Bake at 350 until the cheese is melted and serve
Lasagna recipes can be found on the back of the container for lasagna noodles.
I don't really trust lasagna. Most noodles you eat with a fork and maybe a knife. Lasagna? You eat it was a fork and a knife. It's a violent man's noodle.
If you must make lasagna, that favorite food of garfield, you're basically going to take ricotta cheese and meat sauce and slap it between layers of cooked noodles. If you don't want to cook the noodles beforehand, add a little extra water to the meat sauce and be prepared to wait.
Here's a recipe- http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Worlds-Best鈥?/a>
Just a note- most of the stuff in here means ricotta cheese, meat sauce and lasanga noodles. Other than some spices, this just says what I said again.
good luck!
Lasagna Recipe
Easy Lasagna
8 ounces lasagna noodles or Oven Ready no cooking noodles ahead required- 1- 8 oz. glass of water poured on surface of Lasagna before baking in oven.
1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
8 ounces mushrooms, optional
1 jar (about 16 ounces) spaghetti sauce, your favourite
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon dried leaf oregano, crumbled
1/2 teaspoon dried leaf basil, crumbled
1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
You can use Oven Ready Lasagna Noodles- no cooking them first required or cook lasagna noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside. In a large skillet, brown beef, onion, and mushrooms; drain well. Stir in spaghetti sauce, garlic powder, salt, oregano, and basil. In a 2-quart buttered baking dish (about 11x7x2-inches), layer 1/3 of the lasagna noodles, 1/3 of the sauce and 1/3 of the ricotta cheese, Monterrey Jack cheese, and Parmesan cheeses. Repeat layers twice. Bake lasagna for 30 minutes, or until thoroughly heated and bubbly. Let stand for 8 to 10 minutes before cutting and serving. Serves 6 to 8.
Here's a really easy lasagna recipe
1 lb lean hamburger
1 24 oz container of cottage cheese
16 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
1 large can or bottle of spaghetti sauce
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 package lasagna noodles - uncooked
Brown hamburger and drain. Add the spaghetti sauce. No real need to heat it as the oven will do that.
In a 9x13 pan put a layer of uncooked noodles. Cover with 1/3 of the meat mixture, 1/3 of the cottage cheese, 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese, and 1/3 cup of the grated Parmesan cheese.
repeat these layers 2 more times ending with the Parmesan cheese.
Cover the pan with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Remove the foil and bake another 10 minutes .
Remove from the oven and let stand at least 10 minutes.
It's pretty much fool proof. Covering the pan and the moisture in the sauce and cheeses will cook the noodles and they don't get hard. Any lasagna noodle will work you don't have to purchase a special type of noodle.
You can substitute ricotta cheese for the cottage cheese. My family prefers cottage cheese so I have always used it.
Serve with Italian bread and a salad and you have a great meal.
Check on your box of Lasagna. There should be a recipe on there and you can change it to use any kind of cheeses and sauces you would like. Use no cook noodles they work real good but make sure you have extra sauce on the bottom.
