I need an easy lasagna recipe. I have the ground beef, noodles, and cheese. I've researched several, but they all call for several different spices - and I don't want to buy these spices for 1 recipe.How do you make an easy lasagna recipe?
the spices make the wonderful taste, but I guess you could make it without the spices.

Buy lasagna noodles, follow cooking recommendation on package, but be sure not to overcook! Yuk. They should still be firm.
Pan cook about 2 lbs of ground (bulk) Italian sausage until slightly seared on the outside.
Grate (or buy pregrated) about 1/2 lb of mozzarella cheese and 1/2 lb of cheddar (or just use two lbs of mozzarella if you prefer) and 1 lb of ricotta cheese or cottage cheese (this works fine). mix all three cheeses together but reserve some grated cheese for the top of your lasagna.
Quantities will vary according to how many noodles you cook and the size of your pan; follow the recommendation on the pasta container.
This is super easy: open two cans of Hunts (or other brand as long as it's thick, no runny sauce, add tomato paste if necessary to thicken) tomato sauce, layer lasagna, sauce, sprinkle Italian seasoning, granulated garlic and a little salt and pepper, sausage, cheese mixture and repeat three times. Top with noodles, reserved cheese and bake on 350 until cheese is light brown and bubbly.
By ';making'; the sauce into the pan, it save time and it's easy. It may not be the best lasagna, but it will be good.
You can buy a seasoned sauce. If you have a favorite brand, see if you can find a garlic and oregano...or an Italian flavored sauce. There's a quite a few out there. Make sure you have enough cheese and sauce though, some of those noodles can make at least a 6 layered lasagna.
Have you ever visited allrecipes.com? there is a recipe for anything you want to nake on there. They have a very easy recipe for lasagne where you don't even have to cook the lasagne noodles before you put it in the pan. The only spice you need is oregeno if you buy spaghetti sauce in a jar.

Notes:
Do not use generic runny spaghetti sauce with this recipe or it will be very runny, still tastes good, but very messy. If you want a very firm noodle, you may want to drain the cottage cheese.
3/4 lb. extra lean ground beef
3 cloves garlic, minced
1-1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
1 jar (26 oz.) spaghetti sauce
1 large tomato, chopped
1 container (16 oz.) BREAKSTONE'S or KNUDSEN Low Fat Cottage Cheese
1 egg
1/4 cup KRAFT 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese
9 lasagna noodles, cooked, drained
2 cups KRAFT 2% Milk Shredded Reduced Fat Mozzarella Cheese, divided
OR
1 lb. ground beef
2-1/2 cups KRAFT Shredded Low-Moisture Part-Skim Mozzarella Cheese, divided
1 container (15 oz.) POLLY-O Natural Part Skim Ricotta Cheese
1/2 cup KRAFT 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese, divided
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 jar (26 oz.) spaghetti sauce
1 cup water
12 lasagna noodles, uncooked
Don't worry about the spices. Most of the jarred sauces are well spiced. Generally I mix the ricotta with an egg, a little parm. cheese (not necessary) salt, pepper and a little bit of garlic powder. I brown the meat with a little diced onion, salt and pepper then warm jarred sauce in it. Then Iayer and bake for about 45 minutes on 350. I don't put the layer of mozz. cheese on the top until the last 5 minutes.
You can cheat by using your fav canned spaghetti sauce..another way..don't pre-boil your noodles. Layer them straight out of the box, bake the casserole covered %26amp; the gravy will steam them cooked...tastier %26amp; easier.
Lasagna Recipe
* 1 (16oz) jar spaghetti sauce
* 8 oz. ricotta cheese
* 8 oz. mozzarella cheese
* 4 oz. cooked Italian sausage
* 6 lasagna noodles
In a rectangle baking dish spread a small amount of spaghetti sauce (enough to cover bottom). Lay 2 lasagna noodles on top. Lasagna noodles do not need to be cooked ahead of time. Spread half of ricotta cheese on top of noodles.
Next sprinkle with half of mozzarella cheese and half of sausage. Lay down two more noodles, cover lightly with sauce and continue as before. After remaining cheese and sausage have be added, lay down the remaining to noodles and cover with remaining spaghetti sauce. Cover lasagna with aluminum foil and bake in preheated oven at 400 degrees for 60 minutes or until noodles are softened.
Remove lasagna from oven and cool a few minutes.
Lasagna Recipe Serves 4.
Tip #1: Lay a sheet of aluminum foil over bottom rack to catch spills.
Tip #2: Top bread with butter, garlic powder, Italian seasonings and mozzarella cheese. Put on cookie sheet and place in warm oven for a few minutes while lasagna cools.
Pick up some jarred marinara sauce from the store. For a full pan I'd get two. Pour a tablespoon of oil in the bottom of the pan and spread around. Add some sauce to the pan and spread around. Add a layer of the noodles (uncooked) to cover, break them to fit if you have to. Add another bit of sauce. Add a bit of each of the cheeses and a layer of noodles, then sauce and so on until you reach the top. Be sure to both leave enough sauce to cover the top layer completely, and enough space at the top of the pan to limit overflow while cooking. Sprinkle the top sauce layer with the last of the cheese and cover all well with foil. Bake at 350 for about an hour. Take off the foil and bake for 10 more min then hit the broiler just until the top cheese is brown. Remove and let sit for about 20-30 minutes so it won't fall apart when you cut and serve it.
It would taste better if you made the sauce yourself. 2 cans of whole tomatoes with the seeds squished out, small can of tomato sauce and a squeeze of tomato paste. Cook diced onion and carrot over low heat for about 15 minutes, add crushed garlic and a pinch of red pepper flakes, pepper and salt. Add dash of red wine and the tomato mixture. Add 1/2C sugar and 2 TBS of jarred italian seasoning, or packaged italian seasoning, or 1 TBS each fresh oregeno basil and tyme finely chopped. Stir and simmer med/low for at least an hour up to 5 hours. Keep an eye on it, don't let it burn even a little. Better if you can make it the day before and let the flavors develope overnight in the fridge.
