I want to make lasagna for my family but I dont know any good recipes or the order to good everything or how to layer it... HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!What are your favorite meaty Lasagna recipes???
This Recipe has been in my family for 45 years. I also have a separate recipe for the sauce if you want it.

2- 13x 9 inch baking pans

1-2 boxes lasagna noodles

1-1/2 lbs ground beef

2-pkgs cubes ham

1 pkg diced pepperoni, optional.

2-4 large cans of mushrooms, drained and rinsed (stems and pieces, depending on how much you like mushrooms)

1 Pkg frozen thawed spinach, thawed, drained, rinsed, and crumbled.

2-3 (26 ounce) cans spaghetti sauce ( I use Hunts 4- cheese)

2-3 (8 oz or 2 cup) pkgs shredded mozzarella cheese

2- cartons ricotta cheese

1 carton parmesan cheese, grated

6- cartons feta cheese, divided

2 eggs

1/2 cup milk

1. Prepare pasta according to package directions. Dain, separate noodles and allow to dry on waxed paper.

2. Brown groud beef in large skillet. Drain and rinse. Crumble, set aside.

3. In large bowl, combine 1-1/2 - 2 jars spaghetti sauce, about half of ground beef, and 1-2 cans of mushrooms. Set aside.

In another large bowl, combine, Ricotta cheese, half of the feta, half of the mozzarrella, 1/2 cup parmesan, half of the spinach, eggs and milk and mix well. Mixture should be spreadable, if not, add more milk until desired consistency.

4. Preheat oven to 350 f. Spray bottoms and sides of pans with non stick cooking spray. Spoon enough spaghetti sauce on bottom to thinly cover.

5. Place 3 lasagna noodles, across the bottom of pan. Spread 1-2 Tbsp of cheese mixture on each noodle, sprinkle, feta (reserving 1 pkg for top) ground beef, mushrooms, pepperoni, ham and spinach, spoon sauce over the top. 6. Repeat until you have 3-4 layers or are 1/4 inch from the top of the pan.

7. On top layer, spoon sauce, spread evenly. Cover with remaining cheese, cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted.

Hope this helps. If you want the sauce recipe, email me at gipsonfamily_wyo@yahoo.com
